Who would’ve thought that Monique, Aly and Hank (yes, Hank…just wait for it) sharing their birth stories would result in uncontrollable laughter with intermittent references to The Color Purple. That’s exactly what happens in Episode 7 of our Not For Lazy Moms Podcast. If you are pregnant or have a birth story of your own, you will definitely be intrigued by the teams’ comedic interpretation of what labor and delivery is like.

“He was the baby in the nursery that looked like he was left there,” is how Monique describes giving birth to her 9lb, 13oz and 22 inches long baby who we all know as Christopher. Oh, and just wait for when Monique mimic’s his deep cry. It’ll probably be the greatest thing you hear all day.

No stirrups. No doctors. No epidural. But there might have been a bullet proof vest involved as Aly’s story definitely leaves her fellow show-mates in tears…of laughter.
