The Not For Lazy Moms cast is back with Episode 2 which dives right into the oh so relatable topic of jealousy and rejection when it comes to your kids. What do you do when your child favors the other parent? Do you feel rejected? Monique has her co-hosts ready to go with Cousin Hank “bringing the honest truth from the booth,” her “Super Dad and Super Husband,” Chris Samuels, and the newest member, Aly Jacobs, who is Monique’s “I’ve gotta see it to believe it” first time mom and friend.
Monique and Chris keep it real when they discuss their kids’ behavior and if it causes jealousy within the marriage. You feel like you are sitting with them in the family room discussing a vulnerable topic that we think about, but rarely say out loud.
The jealousy topic has all different layers including, from how we were raised to how kids can become master manipulators. As Monique is talking about these little blockers being manipulators, Cousin Hank actually says, “Well, that starts in the womb.” Don’t worry bosses! Your Not For Lazy Mom quickly put him in his place.
