For Monique Samuels, star of The Real Housewives of Potomac, making time for self-care is a priority. But as most moms know, finding the time—and the help—to do it can be challenging. Samuels, a mom of three (Christopher, 6, Milani, 3, and Chase, 6 months), says she’s made a few adjustments in her life to get it done, including securing the help she needs. From relying on her formal NFL player husband, Chris, to her mom, to her “family assistant,” who helps gets the kids ready for school, pack their lunches, and does the food shopping, the 35-year-old tells Parade that she’s found a system that works for her family.


“Self-care is important,” she explains. “I don’t feel bad about taking time out for myself because I’m giving myself to everybody all the time.     I have to ask what advice do you have for moms like me who literally have no one to help I do it all by myself especially since this pandemic hit. I’m a single mother struggling so bad but my kids are not wanting for anything I’m just trying to build a business literally of a negative dollar take care of my kids and losing my job because of covid and plus more watching the show you give me strength because I feel i can relate to you please help on advice please
